What conditions can cold laser treat?
Edward Ryan III, director of Sports Medicine for the U.S. Olympic
Training Center, notes that athletes have experienced significant pain
relief and increased range of motion when treated with the ML830
laser, especially in the acute phases of injuries. He has also seen a
reduction in healing time for a variety of conditions. He views the
ML830 to be a welcome tool for treatment and recovery regimens
during preparation and competition in the Athens Olympic games, when
providing athletes with pain relief will be most critical.

Studies on Cold Laser Therapy
The New England Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVIII with some help from
a little known form of laser technology that could change the way
athletic injuries and chronic pain are treated. In the week preceding
the Super Bowl, Boston based registered nurse Ellen Spicuzza treated
more than 10 patriots players with cold laser therapy for tendon and
muscle injuries.

"A couple of days prior to the Super Bowl weekend, I treated David
Givens (Patriot wide reciever) who had a locked up hamstring," Ellen
Spicuzza said. She rotated the pen like laser over the "belly" of his
hamstring muscle for about five minutes, she said, "the laser released
it!"
